Hi all, I just upgraded from an old G3 to a brand-spankin' new iMac G4/1GHz/Super drive. I'm a little bothered that almost NOTHING from my old system opens on this computer, even in the Classic environment, but I suppose I can find upgraded software out there. I had to reinstall Office '98 in order to use the Word/Excel applications and associated documents generated on my old computer. Anyway, this is my most pressing problem right now: I have an HP 2100 printer installed on OS X right now and it works fine. When running Office '98 in Classic, this printer driver doesn't appear in the chooser. Others have told me to boot up from an OS 9 system disc and reinstall the print software but I don't think this computer will do that. I'm still feeling my way around OS X and I set it to automatically open Classic at start-up butI don't know how to re-install print drivers so they will be able to be used in Classic. Another person suggested downloading earlier OS 9 compatible drivers from the HP website. No one really knows how to do this with the new 2003 computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
