Just bought a film scanner, but can't get it to function. After installingPhotoshop Elements and Photoshop are two similar, but definitely different programs. Your scanner may not work with Photoshop Elements? You need to check with the scanner manufacturer to find out if it will work with Photoshop Elements? Do they have an updated driver on their web site that does support PE2, etc.?
it, I tried to bring up its program by double clicking the icon, but no go.
I kept getting an error message that the program is unable to find the program "photoshop". The message includes a diaglog box with my old program Photo Deluxe.
Now both Photo Deluxe and my newly installed Photoshop Elements 2
are together in my hard drive, yet the scanner's program somehow is
unable to locate Photoshop Elements, even though it's icon is right next to
Photo Deluxe.
Start with tech support at the scanner company.
Can someone please guide me on what I have to do to get my scanner program to "see" PE? Thanks for any help. Zippy
