After all of the discussion of iChat and Apple's iSight, I decided it might also be helpful to have a place for folks with AV to find each other, in addition to the list Judi is compiling. I put up a quick site with a script that creates kind of "business cards" for people -- with where they are, whether they have cameras, their screen names, interests, etc. Kind of like 14k4 Mac Buddy central (www.14k4.com).
Now, admittedly, not everyone would want to do it -- some might have trepidation about putting all of that stuff out there on the Net. I understand. But for those who want to, I'm inviting everyone to come on over. There's also a couple of brief pages on cameras to buy and some support suggestions, and I'm hoping to eventually put up a traditional forum, as well.
I'm not doing this for money or anything, and just want to build it and leave it out there for folks to use (hopefully responsibly!). I'm not going to submit to search engines yet or anything, just send out the link to other "birds of a feather" on lists like this one.
