I just bought a 15" 800MHz G4 iMac from Apple on their Summer Finance deal (5 months interest free - good show!) and after waiting for forever and a day (I ordered it on the 28th June) for it it got here on Wednesday (some 18 days later) and I have spent the last few days setting it up with all the software off of my G3/400 (which is being re-posted as a file server and backup box).
I'd just like to say how impressed I am with the overall quality of the iMac. I've never had a new Mac before and i keep hearing these stories of things going wrong and Apple kicking over the cart on people and I admit it dod worry me slightly. However, all seems good, and I got 3 years of AppleCare cover just to be sure as the iMac G4 isn't exactly a very user serviceable unit.
