Jas, I think you mixed up nomenclature. The basic unit is 1 HZ. 1000000 Hz = 1 MHz .001 Hz = 1 mHz. For units of 1 and larger, the beginning letter is always uppercase and for units smaller than 1, the beginning letter is lowercase. At least that is what I was taught about the SI (metric system). pico, nano, micro, milli, centi, deci, Deka, Heka, Kilo, Mega, Giga, Tera. Also the lower prefixes are Latin and the upper ones are Greek derivations. K is used by itself to denote "degrees of temperature Kelvin" 0 K = -273.16 C, or -459.69 degrees Fahrenheit. Water freezes at 273.16 K, 0 C, 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and it boils at 373.16 K, 100 C 212 degrees Fahrenheit
