OK I've had my iMac less than a week and already i have trouble - well apart fro the fact i have a dead bug in the LCD panel but I'll wait for winter before I get that cleaned out :)
When I have tried to sleep it a few times i have had problems. Yesterday it just hourglassed for a split second then continued like i hadn't done anything, then today the backlight went dim and it locked up. Nothing of any note was running, only iCal.
Any ideas?
Seems like sleep is problematic for iMacs. I have my energy saver CP set to NEVER for sleep and when I want it to sleep I can use the sleep menu at the top. As long as YOU put it to sleep and don't let it do itself, it seems to work!
