I am not having a go at you for writing M instead of G (megabyte as opposed to gigabyte), but what really gets my back up is that so many in the Mac community write Mb Gb and not MB GB.

A "b" is a bit, a single 1 or 0, whereas a "B" is a byte, which is eight bits.

Even Mac User UK insist on writing Mb. Plain ignorance.

I studied for 4 years at University among a bunch of PC users (we
studied electronics, so it is understandable that no-one else used Macs),
but I can really see why they have such a low-tech opinion of Mac users!!
