Short story:

Can one (fairly easily) take the tube from a 233MHz iMac and
stick it in a iMac 400DV ???

Long story:

I have a 233MHz iMac with a fully working tube and I have just
bought a 400MHz DV iMac (raspberry) which has a strange
discolouring problem (aparently due to being magnetised by
standing too close to a speaker).

One option is to swap the tube, the other is to remove the Mac
parts (as opposed to screen parts) and stick the bits in an old
Mac IIcx and run it as a regular desktop.

I'm happy with the latter, but the iMac 400DV is a very reasonable
Mac compared to the rev. A/B iMac and thought it could be worth
swapping.

Is it a straight swap ?
