Brian, The reason they cant see each other is that Windows compatibility didn�t come along until 10.2 Jaguar. You need a 3rd Party app such as Dave to do so.
Also, windows Me is notoriously bad for networking with Macs, It doesn�t detect it as a valid computer sometimes so you get a self-assigned "media disconnected" IP address. Check that your Athlon has a valid IP address, and set the iMac to 192.168.0.2 or similar. Good luck - It probably wont work in the end though - God knows I have had so much trouble with the same setup! Phil P.S. PC-MacLan?
