Just realised that the problems that the FirmWare updades are causing low end users (no offence intended!) has stood me in well more than once.
Apart from this iMac 400DV bargain, I have alsomade a good deal when selling my Tangerine iMac 400 DV. I had it for sale for $400 (4000SEK) and I got a buyer with a rev.B iMac with a "hardware fault".
He bought my iMac 400DV for $300 and gave me his iMac rev.B in exchange.
Well, as it turned out, all it was was the FirmWare...
I sold the iMac rev.B for $300. :o)
I then bought another rev.B for $130 and am about to swap it for a toilet lid (clam shell) which will be seriously modified ala www.applefritter.com
...and by this time you've all fallen asleep with all my drivvel...
