Joe, Start up from a System Software disk, you know, one of those OS install disks, and open the Utilities folder and run Drive Setup to update the hard disk driver. It only takes a few seconds. Before you restart, open the Startup Disk Control Panel and make sure that your hard drive is chosen as the startup disk. You should be good to go. Cheers, John
