I have the Grape Rev. D tray loading 333 MHz iMac, which has intermittent
delays when the CD ROM drive is empty. A CD ROM in the drive clears up the
delays, and the iMac CD Update is supposed to clear up the delays, and
reduce disc vibrations. When I run the update, a box appears with the
following mesage: "Incorrect systen version=922. Flasher works best on
System 7x or greater! Continue at your own risk!"

The iMac has 160MB RAM and runs OS 9.2.2. I am hesitant to update due to
readme files I have seen saying it may ruin the CD ROM drive.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
