OK, having assembled Disk Warrior, downloaded the Firmware update and as many application upgrades, etc. and burned the downloads to a CD, I was going to go for Jaguar this morning.
BUT...
Having already upgraded (a while back) my OS to 9.2.2 it was with alarm I received the error message from the firmware update that I needed to be running 9.1. I tried to reinstall 9.1 but it said it couldn't overwrite 9.2.2.
What iMac(?) model do you have?
What is the present firmware version?
(Find FW version by looking in System Profiler/Production Information/Boot ROM version. (I think -- I am in X and the location is a bit different here.))
