I can wait till Friday for Panther, but paying for overnight and not getting it is not Ok with me. Anyway I know its in the pipeline and will get it tomorrow.

Actually, I'm glad we were able to help (in a way) in getting your money back. I'm leery of expedited shipping from Apple as experience has taught me it doesn't make a difference in many cases.
For example, people who purchase a new PowerBook from Apple have to wait for it to arrive from Taiwan before the priority shipping kicks in. That time includes waiting for the product to travel overseas and then waiting for customs to clear it. Only after Apple has received it (in this case at their Ohio center) does the priority shipping take effect. After that, it's a matter of a few days' difference and you really have to think about whether you really need it that much faster. My friend and I ordered a new PowerBook G4 on the same day. He paid for 2 day shipping and I went for standard. A delay in processing my order kept it out of the system for five days. They upgraded my shipping to 2-day and we both got it the same day. He got his money back in light of this.
