Subject: Re: Misbehaving iMac

Hello All,

Two days ago I posted a problem. Received a garbled answer so I repeat:

My friends slotloading 400 MHz DV iMac objects to be restarted after
about 2 hours running. Lighted I/O knob but no sound and dark screen.
Only way to stop it is unplugging the machine. After =B1 2 hours rest,
starting is no problem. Must be a temperature problem, I think. Any
advice?

TIA, greetings, Andre.=

Have you tried resetting the PRAM and the Open Firmware?

Thank you Herbert, I will try that, greetings, Andre.
