Strange. I get to the password page, type in my password and then the browser gets on some kind of horizontal elevator, where it tries one long URL for a bit, then switches to a shorter one, then back to the longer one, etc. meanwhile, nothing appears. Finally, it gives up and a small zero appears in upper left corner. That's it; zilch.
Netscape, however, with the same URL dashes right in.

I went there, typed in my AOL IM screen name, and got to the next stage (which was, unfortunately, a note that said "this area is not available at this time. Please try again later.")
This was in Safari 1.1(v100), aka the Panther version of Safari, default "user agent."
I get the same thing as Don that finally ends with an error message from Safari:
Could not open the page "http://login.compuserve.com/login/LoginSuccessSNS.asp"; because Safari could not load any data for this location.
