I just installed OS X 10.3 and I'm liking the Preview but finding
myself using it way too much.
When printing a simple 8 1/2 x 11 sheet I have to shrink it down to 88%
all the time.
Anyone else have to do this and/or know the solution?
Is there a "fit to page" preference or something?

Here's a funny thing: if I have a piece of email that's too large to fit on a page (usually because of a large picture) I can save the attachment (picture), open it in Preview and it will ASK me if I want to scale the photo before printing.

HOWEVER, if I choose to Preview it from within Mail, it doesn't. Not sure exactly why that's handled differently, but there you are -- if you want to do that from within Mail, you'll just have to keep manually putting in the "shrink" amount. Some programs (like Acrobat) have "shrink to fit" checkboxes as part of the program; others don't.
