I seem to remember hearing that people often have trouble with ".0" releases
of Apple's operating systems.

If you're not experiencing problems, I wouldn't worry about it - but if your
8.0 and 9.0 systems could use some improvement in stability, you might want
to check out the upgrades to 8.1 and 9.1 (or 9.2.2, using OS9helper from
www.os9forever.com) I believe those are all free downloads from apple.com.

I know there's a page out there that lists what changed in every version of
the Mac OS, but I can't find it at the moment.  Maybe someone else on the
list is a better Googler than I, and will post it for us.
