I was given the G3 on the premise that it was broken and was just an
expensive paperweight, but I fixed it, and now I don't know what to do with
it. I have an iMac G4 17"FP 1Ghz as my primary machine, so I rarely use the
G3 anyways...

Two thoughts. Okay, three. First, do you have a friend who could really use a decent computer but can't afford one? This might be a neighbor with kids or an older relative. Since cost is no issue, put a good OS on it and give it to them. Second, you could donate it to some organization, e.g., a school or small library. Be prepared to help them with some support in that case, but you can take a (small) tax writeoff. Finally, keep it as a server for your local network if you have need of such a thing. An old iMac has plenty of chug to serve web pages and things like that.
