Don,
My Epson 1520 works well with my Rev a iMac and also my Pismo, using gimp print.

You do lose the control to test and to clean the jets, but has plenty of options for resolution and media types.
Keep trying, you will get it going. If you still have probs let me know and I will try to remember how I installed it.

        Regards,
        Stuart.

(Epson is committed to OS X, now we have Jaguar etc ..................
        Q is, which Christmas?)

I have an Epson 1520 Stylus that doesn't connect to my iMac, which is running 10.2.6. unless I boot it into 9.x. I went to the gimp site, but don't find anything about how to WORK it, or whether it might (if I could work it) support the 1520. Is there an easy explanation somewhere? thanks, -don
