Possible Upgrade for a Rev. B iMac

Hello everyone. I have a query that the knowledgeable amongst you will 
know the answer to. I have just inherited from work the motherboard of 
a 400mHz DV slot-loader, and I was wondering whether:

1. Can it be used in a rev. B iMac size-wize (to save me from 
unscrewing anything!)
2. If it can, what other components will I need? I only have the logic 
board.

My main reason for wanting to do this is to enable me to plug in 
Firewire, so if this is impossible or uneconomic are there any other 
ways to attach Firewire ports to an iMac this old?
