I think 4.3 is the last version with "talk", it's definitely the last
version that runs on my OS 9 machines (250 MHz S900, 233 MHz iMac) without
being VERY VERY SLOW.  Get it here:

Look under "system requirements" for the link that says "OS 8.6 users click
here to download AIM version 4.3"

If you're running X, I don't know if this old version and it's talk feature
will work under classic.
