Hi Listers, quick question: can I install OS X from an iMac onto an iBook via firewire target mode? My indigo clamshell winter 2000 iBook seems to have trouble with its CD-Rom drive lately and I've had trouble installing OS X via the usual method.
I searched the Apple Knowledge base and I've seen no specific mention other than one can *copy* files via target mode, not install OS software. Any thoughts?
