iMac Graphite SE 400 Mhz; Original 128 Mb RAM + 256 Mb 3rd party added; 13 gb drive Mac OS X 10.2.8 and 9.2.2
I wanted to rebuild this machine without Classic since I don't use any Classic apps anymore. When I tried to boot the 10.2 CD, I get a garish pink-orange screen with a Default Catch error 300, Open Firmware error screen. If I type "mac-boot", I go into Classic. I was able to find some mention of third-party RAM, but not much else specific. Any other ideas? Bob Salsburg -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
