G4 FP Screen Cleaning

Anyone know if it's safe to use IPA (isopropyl/rubbing alcohol) 
solvent. I've used it for cleaning my ibook screen before now with no 
adverse effect, but with rapid advances in LCD technology you never 
know what they use for cover film from one week to the next. I don't 
really want a furry fog effect on my screen!
