Norton, DiskWarrior and Techtool are all decent repair tools. Personally
I would keep a minimum of at least DW and either Norton or TT around for
emergencies. All three is even better because sometimes Norton will be
able to fix a problem TT is unable to, and vice versa.
I just used the upgrade option on my Dalmatian to jump from 10.1 to Jag 10.2.
Nice :)
If I consider making the next leap to Panther (If I get lucky on eBay, I'll by it because it sounds like, as Charles has said, that it's the most "self-correcting OS X yet...), do I need to be mindful that these different utilities don't all work with Jag AND Panther?
Maybe I should wait to invest in utilities until after upgrading to Panther or the new version of OS X next year?
Happy New Year all!
