part an imac keyboard. It's the one that came with the imac 400DV. I've got the screws out of the back but I can't figure out how to unsnap it at the bottom. I can
If you haven't found it yet, there's a screw underneath the sticker that contains the serial number - about underneath the F9 key. if you run your finger along that sticker you should be able to feel where the hole for it is. It's been almost a year since I pulled mine to pieces, and it's a bit of a pain all the way through compared to the new keyboards!
hope that helps some
So does anyone know how to dismantle a Pro Keyboard? My G3's Pro k/b (bought when they first switched over to the new k/b with no Power key in 2001) is really geeing unhygenic. My iMac's k/b could do with all the cruft cleaning out, although I've only had it 4 months. Who's half-assed Idea was it to make see-thru keyboards and mice? I don't WANT to see all the hairs, dust, dead skin and biscuit crumbs I've left in my k/b thank you!!
