Have been trying unsuccessfully under MacOS X.2.6 to get QuickTime Player to recognize my Yamaha synth via an M-Audio 1X1 MIDI interface: it just doesn't show up in the QT prefs instrument list. The AudioMIDI Setup application has no problem seeing both the MIDI interface and the synth, so I'm stuck here.
I would be grateful of any ideas, help, etc.
[Yes, I know that 10.2.6 is "old", but upgrade just hasn't bubbled to the top of the priority list yet.]
