suddenly, double messages?

Just got done setting up and conquering the fear of the new G5, and for 
some reason, now I'm getting double copies of some emails. Yes, I have 
more than one email account, but they basically "funnel" into two. I'm 
using Apple's Mail until I investigate a program a computer friend told 
me about--PocoMail.

Any ideas on how to stop the doubles?? I checked in Mail preferences, 
etc, but can't find anything, nor does MailHelp say anything about it.
