Linksys Wireless G access point on OS X ?

Is anybody using a Linksys Wireless access point with their macs ?  I 
had been debating between Linksys and just going for the Airport 
Extreme Base Station.  Of course there is a huge difference in price 
between the two but I had also heard that many users had trouble 
setting up the Linksys and then getting a constant connection.

I am on cable modem and have an iMac and a new Al 15" Powerbook that I 
want to have hooked up.

Any user experiences with this Linksys model would be much appreciated,
