I'm not really sure what the problem is here. It used to work, but now it doesn't.
Perhaps since I relaoded the system, but I can't remeber if I've used it since then or
not. In anyevent, now that my iMac is working the way it's supposed to (for the most
part) I'm using it for pretty much everything.
So, here's what's happening: I have a Lacie CD-RW (32x12x4) drive that came with my
iMac when I bought it from someone. It worked at the time, but for some reason I can
no longer burn with it. My iMac reads CDs just fine off of it, just isn't recognized
as a writable drive.
I've been to the lacie site, and what they have to offer for drivers seems a little
limited, i.e. I was unable to find a mac driver for this drive. Has anyone ever run
into this type of problem before? I've tried all of the programs I can find on the
HD, including toast and iTunes, and been to OS 9 and back with no luck.
Oh yes, and while I'm at it, I've got iTunes 1.1.2, should I upgrade it?
