Hi

Have been having a few difficulties installing Panther on a G4 FP iMac. The simple approaches of "upgrade" or "archive and install" just wouldn't work - can only assume that I'd unwittingly installed something into the previous 10.2.8 system which messed things up. Played with this for weeks and finally gave up. Installed Panther on an external Firewire hard drive with total success, and have since been trying to copy things over from the internal drive. It has all gone fine so far, apart from:

Internet Explorer - cannot import the previous Favourites into the new version. Have exported the previous on to the desktop and have copied that thing on to the icon of the
external drive. On importing, after re-boot into Panther, all I get is a folder. Not what I'm after at all. Any suggestions?

iTunes - have copied over the library OK, so have all the music files, but seem to have lost the Playlists. Where are these?

Once I've finished, I'll erase the internal drive and CCC the whole lot over. Can someone shed some light?

David
