D-Link makes a 10/100 PCI card that has Mac drivers. Its a readily
available card sold to the plethora of Windows users at any
computer/electronics store (my local CompUSA and BestBuy both sell it).
It sells for about $20.

The catch however is, they specify that it works with 9.x and 10.x and I
noticed you said you are using 8.1. If you are game for upgrading it may
work fine for you, if not, it may still work and DLink just didn't feel
like testing with older OS versions.
