No the video thing is perhaps a reference to what
happens to some iMacs that people install X on them
without updating their firmware.  I bought a 350
blueberry iMac with screwed up video. Someone had
tried to put X on it without updating the firmware..
so I did have to take it apart and turn the brightness
all the way up on the side of the CRT to be able to
use it at all but then I updated the firmware, turned
it back down and its been fine since.  

As far as Jaguar on less than 333... this is being
typed on a Bondi/333.... it worked just fine with the
original 233 processor as well.
