I wasn't aware that they had such a connector.

They do have a VGA output connector on the back (under a panel, the iMac 
should have come with a 2nd panel for it so you can use the connector and 
not leave a gaping hole in the case). There was also a reasonably cheap 
VGA to NTSC adaptor that was designed to be used with the DV series 
iMac... so maybe that is what you are thinking of.
