This is probably the wrong forum for this problem, but I cannot find any
forum or group for Microsoft Mouse products, and it seems Microcrap does not
offer support for their mouse products (I hate them so much). I use a
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 5-button optical mouse with my 20 iMac
running OS 10.3.2. The mouses Back button (the one under the thumb on
the left side) has always worked as it should -- when clicked, it went back
one page in Safari or Internet Explorer. However, suddenly it started going
back 2, 3 or even 4 pages when I click the 'Back' button, making it useless
(on a 20" screen, not having a 'Back' button really sucks). I tried
trashing the Intellimouse 5.0 preferences, and that worked for about a week.
Then the problem returned, so I trashed the prefs again, but this time it
fixed it only for a couple of hours. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jay Boshara
