I suggest installing a humidifier in the central heating system if you can, or at least set up a portable, cabinet style humidifier in your computer room. Run the humidifier to get about 25 - 35% humidity, even more, as long as you do not get condensation or frost on your windows or exterior walls. Use a digital hygrometer, about 30 $ Canadian. You will probably also find great improvement in your physical comfort, skin, throat, nose.
