Re: Purple Hue on eMac monitor

Years ago, I placed an un-shielded speaker too close to my Sony 
monitor. Caused what looked like a bad bruise on much of the screen. I 
cured it with an old bulk-tape-eraser...the kind used to erase 
seven-inch magnetic tape. I'm afraid bulk tape erasers are about as 
plentiful a snow leopards these days...just suggesting a possible 
cause/solution.
