I am looking for some advise and the general "lowdown" on the various early G3 iMacs.
I have a 350 MHZ slot loader, which sounds about like what you want. This is the last (I believe) iMac with no firewire. So anything faster than 350 should fit your bill. It has been a very faithful machine, and runs Jaguar with no trouble. For light work it is fast, the beach ball is rare. The only thing I would worry about is that this machine is probably nearing the end of its life. I wouldn't want to pay too much for a used one.
