Does it integrate with the Address Book in OS X? That's something I require for any Mail client in OS X - central integration to OS X Services. I can't stand the Windows-esque 'tower of babel' effect you get from using various competing products from different companies to do different things only to find you can't get an address from your Mail client to use in a document, or a web browser. I'm hoping MS saw sense in Office 2004 For Macintosh and integrated the OS X Services into the system.
Also, if you have OS X and a Mac already then Mail.app is also "free" (at no extra cost at least).
