Thanks for your response. The IE 5.2.3 is for OS X and is not compatible
with a "lower" OS. IE5.1.7 is for OS 8.1 -- 9.x

He just has to bite the bullet and update to 9.2.2 I think the problem will
clear up by then. Good point about other browsers. I'll try it and see if
there's a difference
