1. Try throwing out the prefs for IE and see if that helps. From: Judson Maynard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> There is a problem with my wife's iMac 333 upgraded with Harmoni to 500 hz - 192 mb RAM - Mac OS X10.2.8 - DSL line through router (for two computers). She uses Safari most of the time but sometimes cannot reach some banking sites, so then she would use Internet Explorer. IE USED to work, but lately has begun to quit as soon as you tell it not to be the default browser. I upgraded to IE 5.2.2 and now 5.2.3 but it still quits immediately after starting. Is there a fix for this?
2. Try different browsers -- Opera, Firefox/Mozilla/Camino, etc.
3. Naturally, you should report the incompatibility to Apple so that a future version of Safari can address it.
4. Change banks. I switched to a credit union over this sort of issue and now I would *never* look back. No more banks for me **ever.**
