Hi, My cousin (a teacher) just sent me this message and I was hoping someone out there with more OS X experience could help me, so I can pass it along to her. The message is as follows:
[I am having a problem with deleting a screensaver file that sits on the desktop. I have tried everything I can think of to put it in the trash but can't get it in there. system - jaguar on the desktop icon/MIB_II_ screensaver_setup I want to remove it from the computer..... when I drag it to the trash a window comes up that states "The item MIB_II_ screensaver_setup is being used by another task right now. (Other task include moving, copying, or emptying the trash.) Try again when the other task is complete. I have forced quit the finder, selected the icon and forced quit that and still I am unable to delete the icon. I have looked at the display, other screensavers, etc. I can't find a way to delete. I have even selected and did an option delete...nothing. Any suggestions?] end message. Thanks, MaxTek -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
