I will not use PayPal, they seem to have major problems dealing with foreign currencies, in this case the Canadian dollar. I don't do transactions which require money to change hands on the internet. All too many people figure the newest and latest is the greatest, be it operating systems or motor vehicles or anything else. I have many friends still operating older Macs of various guises still running happily in 8.6. Their work as much as mine is not toys or whizbang things which Apple just loves to promote. I use Appleworks & Quark for word processing and layouts, and PowerMail for e-mail. That's it! If I need a Microslop application I can use it and then not use it. iCab gets used for web browsing and graphic converter for its own thing. The system(s) work for me. I am too old to change, nor do I care. Yes my iBooks can boot in either 9 or 10 however; tried to use 10 two for two weeks. Simply could not get my way of thinking around to ten. I don't do video, nor digital nor scanning not anything else weird and wonderful. Went back to nine as that is what came on the machine and this is where I shall stay. Suspect many others feel the same way. If something disastrous happened to the iBook, well I might then have to upgrade. Until then will stay right here thank you!
