Hi again listers--

Even though I have a successful 4 mac and laser printer network with wireless router attached to a cable modem, one of the basics have obviously slipped out of my brain.

I'm trying to connect 2 iMacs together (333 MHz Strawberry and a 350 MHz Blue slot-loader) directly (no router, switch box or modem in between) using the built in ethernet ports. Is the ordinary ethernet cable ok or do I need a crossover cable? And if I do need that, what is its official designation?
