Yes I tried the tech boards and even had the "Live Help" chat with an Ebay
rep. Both the board and the rep say to upgrade to IE 5.1 for the Macintosh.
Which is a complete dog on a 5400/180 (OS 8.6, 128mgs of ram, 60 gig drive).

After the last two days of testing of browsers and uploading pics I have
found out that:

iCab 2.9.8
WamCom Mozilla 1.3.1
Netscape 4.7.9
Netscape 7.0

all will not upload pictures to Ebay. What I guess is a java script that is
only written for Internet Explorer.

This means all people that are using slower PowerPC's have to resort to
Explorer and it dragging and dragging just to post an auction with uploading
pics. I can't tell you how frustrated I am since it worked perfectly a month
ago.

My 5400/180's drive crashed and it took me a month to buy a new one, load OS
8.6 and all the apps etc. It is now back to perfect BUT now I can't sell on
Ebay.

If there is any people out there uploading pics to Ebay using a Mozilla
browser and an operating system of OS 9.2.2 and before, please tell me how
your doing it. Am I missing some part of the operating system? I am
desperate.

Thanks,

MaxTek

I use Netscape 7. with OS 9.2.2 but I don't upload pics...I host my
own. I know they have had TONS of problems with the system
recently...have you tried the Tech users board or other boards on
ebay that might be able to help?
