Hi, I'm new to this list, but I know other LEM lists already.
I subscribed here basically to ask one specific question.

I have borrowed a (copy of a) CD from a friend with Mac OS 9 and installed
it in Mac-on-Linux on my PowerBook, in order to add some screenshots to
my Graphical User Interface gallery.

I was surprised to discover that Mac OS 9 installed with a teal colour
scheme and a teal wallpaper, instead of a usual Mac OS blue/violet one.
Was that because copies of Mac OS 9 distributed with iMacs had default
colours set to match the colour scheme of the machine... or am I totally
hallucinating here?

Thanks in advance for clearing this up.
