I want to iSync my iMac to my powerbook to update my Address Book, iTunes, and iCal between the two. I have a crossover cable. Has anyone here done this? I want to hear it from a pro before I try this myself. Do I just plug-and-sync?

To do this you currently are required to have a .Mac account. You have to iSync one computer to the account, then iSync the other computer from it. It's a wretched system especially if like me you have slow internet access. I don't know if the re-hash of iSync in Tiger gives any new way for network users to do this directly. I suspect it was high ion the list of requests for iSync.
