The version of ePocrates that you can install on the Mac is the full purchased product. It comes with a year's support and updates. This full version also has tons of features that the "free" version for the PC does NOT.
If you are a medical professional, like I am, you want the FULL version.

According to the epocrates web site, only their Rx Pro Drug Reference is both Mac & Palm compatible. That said however, if you can extract the prc & pdb files from the product you have, just copy them onto the Mac and use Palm Desktop for Macintosh to install them.
