Anyone else having this problem and/or have found the solution?
When I open Netscape 7.02 (only sometimes) and than start typing in a URL in
the URL address area window it freezes. I get as far as typing the "w" in
the URL. The cursor changes to a watch as well. From there I have to do a
"force quit".
Please help, I am tired of downloading browsers trying to find a good one to
run with OS 9.2.2, Ebay and Paypal.
Sounds like the "autocomplete" option is having problems. Turn it off in Netscape preferences.
Consider upgrading to OS X. The compatibility problems you are experiencing on the web are only going to get worse the longer you stick with OS 9.
